If your company has towed and stored a vehicle and that customer has paid you are entitled to proper compensation. The lien arises at the time the registered owner is presented with a written statement of charges for services rendered. Now, differing states have differing time periods to allow for satisfaction of the lien. Here in Florida where The Title Lady is headquartered, that time period is 7 days "after" you the car or vessel.
Important Facts:
-The lien must be filed within 7 days after you tow the unit to accrue "storage"
-The lienholder (i.e. bank or lender) has the right to inspect the repairs within 3 days after receiving notice.
-If car is 3 years of age or older sale can take place 35 days after tow.
-If car is 3 years of age or "less" sale can take place 50 days after tow.

What's Needed: Tow Bill and payment of $250.00
Once "ALL" is completed a Transfer Fee and Recording Fee will apply.
